Overview

The Ampinvt 1200W off-grid low frequency solar inverter converts 12Vdc battery power to 120Vac output and can charge a battery bank when AC power and/or solar power is connected. It features a pure sine wave inverter with a built-in 40A MPPT charge controller (30A/40A series) and supports multiple working modes for flexible operation.

Key Features

  • Continuous output power: 1200W
  • Peak output power: 3600W
  • DC system voltage: 12V battery system only
  • Built-in MPPT solar charge controller: 40A (30A/40A series)
  • Pure sine wave inverter
  • 5 working modes intelligent select
  • Multiple protection
  • Charge current can be adjusted
  • Accept different type of battery
  • RS485 communication interface
  • Front-panel LCD display, LED indicators, and function keys

Working Modes

  1. AC/Line priority mode -- Always uses AC power as priority input, provides AC output, and automatically charges the battery.
  2. Battery priority mode -- Priority is given to battery power supply. After low voltage protection, it transfers to AC grid power supply. When the battery is full, it transfers back to battery power.
  3. ECO Mode -- Load < 10%: automatic sleep and stops output; load > 10%: automatically boots back to normal inversion.
  4. Generator mode -- A generator connected to the AC input; output is stabilized through AVR while the battery is recharged.
  5. Unattended Mode -- When battery voltage is low, the inverter enters standby (power saving). When battery voltage returns to the user-set value (such as via solar charging), it restores normal output for fully automatic operation.

Attention / Installation Notes

  • This solar inverter is able to charge the battery bank when AC power/Solar power is connected to the inverter.
  • This inverter can ONLY work with a 12V battery system.
  • Inverter CAN NOT support connect in parallel.
  • Inverter MUST have a battery, and the battery MUST be connected first.
