Overview

The Ampinvt FT Series low-frequency pure sine wave power inverter with AC charger converts DC 12V battery power to AC output and can charge the battery bank when AC power is connected. It provides 2000W continuous output power with 6000W peak output power and supports five selectable working modes for different power-source priorities.

Working Modes (5)

  1. AC Priority Mode - The AC input (utility power/city grid) will supply power to AC output (appliances/load) first, and auto charge battery at the same time. Inverter will auto stop charging when battery has been fully charged. When there is no AC input, inverter will auto switch to battery power supply.
  2. Battery Priority Mode - The battery power will supply power to AC output (appliances/load). When battery voltage reaches the low voltage limit, if AC input is on, inverter will auto switch to AC input supply; if AC input is off, inverter will auto shut down. When battery voltage reaches the low voltage restore setting, inverter will auto switch back to battery supply.
  3. ECO Mode - Similar to AC priority mode. When AC input (utility power/city grid) is off, the inverter will auto enter standby status when appliances capacity is under 5% inverter capacity. The inverter will keep switching between on and standby to detect whether the AC output (appliances/load) capacity is over 5% of the inverter capacity. If the AC output capacity is over this limit, inverter will auto switch from standby status to inverting status.
  4. Generator Mode - Uses an unstable generator as an AC input source through the inverter AVR regulator, automatically matching 50Hz/60Hz municipal frequency, with output voltage regulation in the normal operating range.
  5. Unattended Mode - Similar to AC priority mode. When AC input (utility power/city grid) is off and battery voltage is too low, the inverter will auto shut down AC output and enter standby status. Once the battery is charged back to the restore voltage point, the inverter will restart the AC output. When AC input returns, inverter will auto restart AC output as well.

Important Notes

  • This power inverter is able to charge the battery bank when AC power is connected to the inverter.
  • This inverter can ONLY work with a 12V battery system.
  • Inverter CAN NOT support connection in parallel.
  • Inverter MUST have a battery, and the battery MUST be connected first.
