Overview
Ampinvt FT Series 5000W split phase pure sine wave inverter (low frequency) with built-in AC charger. When AC power is connected to the inverter, it can supply AC output and charge the battery bank.
Key Features
- Pure sine wave inverter, low frequency
- Power rating: 5000W continuous output power; 15000W peak output power
- Battery system: 48V battery system only
- Split-phase output support: 120V/240V split phase wiring indicated (Hot1/Hot2/Neutral)
- AC charger function: charges the battery bank when AC power is connected
- Not parallel capable: cannot be connected in parallel
- Battery must be connected first: inverter must have a battery, and the battery must be connected before use
- Front panel controls: LCD display, LED indicators, function keys
- Interfaces/terminals shown: Battery Positive, Battery Negative, Remote Control; AC Input; AC Output; AC Fuse
Load note: Different types of loads have different starting impulse currents. Select the appropriate inverter model according to actual equipment power, current, and load characteristics.
Working Modes
1. AC/Line priority mode — always use AC power as priority input, provide AC output, and automatically charge the battery.
2. Battery priority mode — priority is given to battery power supply. After low voltage protection, it transfers to utility power supply. When the battery is full, it transfers back to battery power.
3. ECO Mode — Load < 10%: automatic sleep and stop output; Load > 10%: automatic boot back to normal inversion.
4. Generator mode — use unstable generator 240V as AC input; through the inverter AVR regulator, automatic matching 60HZ municipal frequency; output voltage regulated in the normal operating range.
5. Unattended Mode — when the battery is low voltage, the inverter enters standby (power saving state). When the battery restores to the set voltage value (such as solar charging), the inverter restores normal output to realize unattended full automatic operation.

Details

Power a 120V/240V split-phase system from a 48V battery bank with low-frequency pure sine wave output and built-in charging.

Front-panel LCD and keys make it easy to monitor status, while clearly labeled battery, AC input, and AC output connections simplify installation.

A 48V system can be built by wiring batteries in series to reach the inverter’s required 48V DC input.

Split-phase output wiring supports 120V loads (Hot-to-Neutral) and 240V loads (Hot-to-Hot) from the same inverter.

Choose loads with starting surge in mind—motors and compressors can draw higher impulse current than their running wattage.
