Overview
The DALY 5A Active Balancer is an active balance module for 3~16S Li-ion/LiFePO4 battery packs. It uses energy-transfer balancing to reduce cell-to-cell voltage differences, supports automatic balance on/off, and is designed for continuous real-time balancing.
Key Features
- Applicable battery strings: 3~16S Li-ion/LiFePO4
- 5A balance current; energy-transfer (active) balancing
- Automatically turns balance on/off
- 24-hour real-time balance; full-time detection; status light display
- Snap-on buckle-type cable + interface to help avoid misplugging
- Easy to install with preset screw holes

Installation & Wiring Notes
- Different manufacturers’ cables may not be universal and may lead to inaccurate sampling; use matching cables.
- Please solder the cable separately first, then plug in the balancer after confirming the cable is soldered correctly.
- Step 1: Solder the wires. Connect the black wire to the total negative pole B-. The second wire (the first red wire) next to the black wire is connected to the positive pole of the first string. Then connect the positive poles of each string in turn until the last red wire is connected to the total positive pole B+.
- Step 2: Measure the voltage. After all cables are connected, use a multimeter to measure whether the voltage of each string and the total voltage of the cable terminals are normal. Li-ion should be around 3.0~4.15V; LiFePO4 should be around 2.5~3.6V.
- Step 3: Getting started. (1) The active balancer can be automatically activated when the power is turned on; if the cable is disconnected, it needs to be re-energized to activate. (2) When the first string voltage is ≥3.1+0.1V, it automatically turns on balance; when the first string voltage is ≤3.0+0.1V, it will turn off. (3) Status light: green light on = balance is on; green light off = balance off.
