Overview

DALY SMART BMS Detector of cable sequence & Active balancer of Li-battery pack is a cable-sequence detector and active balancer for 3~24S Li-ion/LifePO4 battery packs. It combines wire sequence detection, voltage measurement, and active equalization (energy transfer type active balancing) in one handheld instrument for battery testing, analysis, and maintenance.

Key Features

  • Cable sequence detection: fast and efficient; supports one-step detection with a matching adapter.
  • Active equalization: active equalization of 10A large current (equalizing current is settable).
  • Display: 3.5 inch LCD screen; supports Chinese-English switching.
  • Detection functions: equalizing current setting, single string voltage detection, wire sequence detection, total voltage detection, voltage difference detection, abnormal alarm.
  • Automatic operation: automatic identification of batteries (3-24 series adaptation), automatic refresh of data, automatic stop equalization, long term self power supply (equipped with 18650 lithium battery; capable of working for 4–6 hours without external power supply).
  • Protection features: high temperature protection (equipped with NTC; automatically stops working when temperature exceeds the limit), low voltage protection (stops working automatically when single string exceeds the limit voltage), reverse connection protection (wrong/reversed wiring triggers an alarm and prevents damage), short circuit protection (built-in fuse).

Applications

  • Power and energy storage batteries
  • Online and offline detection, analysis, and maintenance of multiple series battery packs
  • Suitable for battery manufacturers, battery distributors, battery repair shops, and DIY users

Important Notes

  • The default equalizing current is 1A; the balance current can be set between 1–10A.
  • If using the terminal block, the equalizing current should not exceed 3A.
  • The equilibrium opening voltage difference can be kept as default or set as required, with a setting range greater than or equal to 5mV.
  • The balance switch is turned off by default; turn it on first to start active equalization.
  • If voltage difference is caused by irreversible reasons (such as cell damage, excessive internal resistance, or water ingress), this product cannot repair the battery.
