Overview

JBD ZP04S014 Hardware BMS Battery Management System (BMS) for 3.2V LiFePO4 4S (12V) battery packs. It is a lithium battery balance protection circuit board with a common port and balancing function for electric-product battery packs.

Key Features

  • Aluminum PCB for effective heat dissipation and lower operating temperature
  • Super Power TVS, anti-high current impact
  • Balancing current up to 250 mA
  • Drop protection
  • Double temperature protection: 75 C external and 95 C internal temperature sensors
  • Can be connected in series; supports heating function (no heating film)
  • Reserved switch controller; cable buckle design (hard to fall off); reserved positioning holes for easy fixing
  • No communication; no display; no automatic identification of string number

Wiring Notes (Same Port BMS)

  • Connect wire B to the total negative electrode of the battery first (short wires need to be welded for line B), then connect the flat wire (pull the cable from the board before connecting).
  • Start from BC0: connect BC0 to the total negative pole of the battery (string 1). Connect BC1 to the positive pole of battery 1, BC2 to the positive pole of battery 2, BC3 to the positive pole of battery 3, and so on.
  • After connecting the flat wire, measure the voltage between each two adjacent wires: polymer battery should be less than 4V; iron lithium (LiFePO4) should be less than 3.5V. After checking, insert the cable.
  • Connect the negative pole of charger and load to C-. B negative wire and C negative wire need to be welded with thick wire.
  • Measure whether the total battery voltage equals the output voltage of the protection board; then it will work normally.
