Overview
EPEVER DuoRacer series is an MPPT dual battery solar charge controller designed to charge two batteries (BATT1 and BATT2) in the same solar system. It supports multiple BATT1 battery types including Sealed, Gel, Flooded, LiFePO4, and Li-NiCoMn. The controller automatically recognizes the start battery (BATT2) system voltage and trickle-charges it when conditions are satisfied, making it suitable for RV, camper, caravan, boat, and trailer electrical systems.
The DuoRacer controller uses an advanced MPPT control algorithm to track the maximum power point (MPP) of the PV array and maximize energy harvest under varying conditions. Compared with PWM charging, MPPT energy utilization is increased by 20% to 30%. When there is no manual operation for a long time and charging conditions cannot be reached (PV < 5V), the unit switches to low-power mode to reduce loss and battery power waste. System parameters can be displayed and set via LED/LCD, or via the MT11 remote meter (accessory).
An AES control signal for a car refrigerator is integrated to supply surplus solar power and reduce energy waste. The enclosure is rated IP33 (dust and water spray protection) and includes multiple protections such as battery overcharge protection, over-discharge protection, and reverse connection protection for PV and battery.

Notes
- Temperature compensate coefficient is zero and not changeable when the battery type is lithium battery.
- If the AES signal port and RS485 communication port are used at the same time, total current must be no greater than 200mA.
- Communication baud rate can only be set via PC software.
- LCD backlight time can only be set via PC software; setting range is 0~999S, and 0s means the LCD is on all the time. DDB: DuoRacer Display Basic (LED); DDS: DuoRacer Display Standard (LCD).
