Overview

The EPEVER Tracer BN Series MPPT solar charge controller is designed for 12V/24V battery systems and supports up to 150V PV input (138V @ 77°F). This listing covers the Tracer BN family models 4215BN / 3215BN / 2215BN, and includes LiFePO4 (12.8V, 4 cells in series) recommended settings for the 4215BN 40A version.

Installation & Setup

Mounting / connection notes (Tracer 4215BN)

  • Connect components to the controller in the required sequence and pay attention to “+” and “-”. Do not turn on the fuse during installation. When disconnecting the system, the order will be reversed.
  • After installation, power the controller and check the battery indicator; it should be green. Always connect the battery first so the controller can recognize the system voltage.
  • Install the battery fuse as close to the battery as possible; suggested distance is within 150 mm.
  • Any negative connection of solar, load, or battery can be earth grounded as required (negative ground controller).

  2. Android EPEVER app via EPEVER eBox (WiFi or Bluetooth)
  3. PC monitoring and setting software “Solar Station Monitor” (use USB to RS485 converter cable model: CC-USB-RS485-150U)
