Overview
This MPPT solar charge controller kit is based on the EPEVER BN series and is supplied as a 40A controller set (Tracer4215BN) with an MT50 remote meter, a remote temperature sensor, and a USB to RS485 converter adapter for PC monitoring. It is designed for 12V/24V battery systems and supports negative grounding with a 150V (138V) PV input rating.

The EPEVER BN series MPPT charge controller features a large heat-sink body, negative-ground design, and an RS485 Modbus port with an included MT50 meter and adapter cables.

The EPEVER Tracer MPPT controller lists a 99.5% max-efficiency MPPT design with real-time dual tracking and multi-peak recognition for variable conditions.

The Tracer4215BN MPPT controller uses a 3‑stage charging algorithm (bulk, boost, float) and includes an MT50 meter for monitoring.

Remote control and real-time system monitoring are available through the EPEVER Solar Guardian app when paired with a BLE/WiFi 2.4G RJ45 D adapter.


The dual power mode controller supports sun-direct drive operation and LiFePO4 battery compatibility for flexible solar power setups.

The Tracer4215BN wiring layout connects multiple 150W panels through a bus bar combiner and DC breaker to a battery bank, with an MT50 remote meter and inverter in the circuit.

The Tracer4215BN MPPT controller bundle includes the MT50 remote meter plus a battery temperature sensor and USB‑RS485 cable for monitoring and PC communication.
