Overview

The JKBMS BD4A24S4P is an active balance BMS designed for multi-string battery packs, with built-in Bluetooth monitoring and support for RS485 communication (CANBUS available as a customized interface). It supports Li-ion (7S624S), LiFePO4 (8S624S), and LTO (12S624S) configurations, and provides 0.4A active balancing with 40A continuous charge/discharge capability.

  • Storage Mode: for transportation/storage/offline or wireless transmission off mode; does not consume battery pack current
  • Normal Working Mode: returns to normal working mode when the charger is inserted (from storage/off mode); protection, equalization, and communication functions return to normal working
  • Standby Mode: when the pack is static (no charge/discharge current and no equilibrium current); enters standby after the set time (1630 days can be set)
  • Shutdown: automatic shutdown voltage; shuts down when a cell falls below the shutdown voltage (described as preventing long-time power waste and battery pack damage)
